SIGMUND BROWN

Hello, my name is Sigmund Brown. I have been a member of The New Densonnetts Gospel Singers for 2.5 years. I started with the group in late  1999 and have been going strong since. My background in music comes  from church. I was born in Texarkana, Texas, and attended the Rose Hill  C.O.G.I.C. , where I sang in the junior choir and adult choir. I played several  Instruments while going to Rose Hill. The piano, organ and drums. I used to  Play the drums for the choir and my friend Chris Dunn played the organ.  Chris and I used to play for the junior choir. I was also in participated in  Band while attending high school; where I played Alto Saxophone. Out of  Those instruments, I really enjoyed playing the piano or keyboards the most.  There’s something about the sound that I just love. I now play the drums for The New Densonnetts Gospel Singers and love it. I am also learning to play  Acoustic guitar. Hopefully, I’ll be able to pick up the sax one day and play Again. The New Densonnetts Gospel Singers are a great group to work with.  There is a lot of talent here, and we are getting ready to make our mark on  Gospel music and the world by singing praises to the Almighty (GOD), for Without him, we would not exist.
